Leila Virginia Sisk Ritch
Jenny Ritch lived with Guss and Blanche in the late 20's and early 30's until her death. As far as I know this is a picture of her sitting on the porch at the house where they were living.

Lei Pirkle
As you can all see, I have been catching up the blog. Not a picture associated with this entry. There has always been a question about the last name of the wife of James T. Simpson, the first of our Simpsons to come to Georgia. I found an extract of a Church record from Pendleton District, SC that mentions a Pirkle and his sister Lei Simpson. I think we can feel fairly sure that Pirkle is the correct name. I have sent for the full church records on microfilm (interlibrary loan) to see what else I can find.
Martha J. Hobson Watts Messer Sisk
I found this picture on Ancestry.Com on another family tree. She was the Wife of William Singleton Sisk. He was her 3rd marriage. Their daughter was Leila Virginia Sisk, Blanche's Grandmother. Not a great picture but the only one I have found.
Nevada Maria Vandiver
This is Nevada Maria Vandiver, Wife of Ramond Calloway Simpson, Sr., probably taken in 1870s or 1880s. Just a Guess. Scanned from a tintype (also known as a ferrotype). Notice the hand colored jewellery and the color in her cheeks.

This picture was taken at the Nelson Farm in Athens, GA at one of the family reunions that was held there. In the picture are:
Back Row: Raymond C. Simpon Jr., Guss H. Simpson
Front Row: India A. Simpson Nelson, Nace E. Simpson, Raymond C. Simpson Sr., Glenn Simpson
Two of the children are not in the Picture. Arthur B. Simpson who died in 1907 and LaUna N. Simpson Barclay
I have finally gotten back to posting additional family pictures to this blog. Things have been a little crazy. Todays picture is on of My Grandfather, Guss Harrison Simpson and his brother, Raymond Calloway Simpson, Jr. taken when they were both young. Ray is the older one in the picture. Guss is the baby of the family. The pictures are high enough resolution so that they can be printed from a download but a high resolution copy is available.
